Electric Callboy Announces New Album

April 16, 2026

Electric Callboy have announced their new album, TANZNEID, set to release on August 7th via Century Media Records. The album's latest single, 'Hypercharged,' is a gaming anthem for the online battle arena/shooter game Brawl Stars. The song features a mix of screamed and sung vocals, with a focus on dancefloor madness through Untz beats and glowstick synth sounds. The lyrics call back to the band's metal heart being 'hypercharged,' while also referencing Brawl Stars locales like Madevil Manor. In a joint statement, the band expressed their excitement about teaming up with Brawl Stars, stating, 'We've always been massive gaming fans, so teaming up with Brawl Stars felt like a perfect match from the start.' They also mentioned that the track came together naturally and that they loved seeing it take shape as Damian's theme. The band's upcoming album, TANZNEID, is expected to include the title track, their 'RATATATA' collab with BABYMETAL, and more. Electric Callboy begins their North America leg of their 'Tanzneid World Tour' on April 17th at the South Side Ballroom in Dallas, Texas. The album's tracklisting has yet to be announced, but the band teases that 'every track surges with energy.' They also mentioned that they took what they loved about their previous album, TEKKNO, and pushed it further, adding new elements, new sounds, and new extremes. A pre-order for an exclusive vinyl variant on 'Neon Violet' wax is available, limited to 300 copies. The standard black wax edition is also available for pre-order.
