Clint Tustin
Clint Tustin was part of the bass foundation within the Western Kami Band during the initial stage of strong international expansion. In a structure like BABYMETAL's, where the bass must coexist with very dense guitars, intense drums, sequences, and a soundscape frequently saturated with layers, his role was key to ensure the foundation did not lose definition or punch. His work is inscribed within a logic of enormous responsibility: the Western Kami Band had to demonstrate that it was not a reduced or secondary version of the Japanese formation, but a fully capable branch of sustaining the project's instrumental standard in the most demanding circuits. Clint provided that solidity with a very functional, technical approach oriented toward collective performance. Although perhaps not one of the names most celebrated by the general fandom in comparison with historical figures, his importance resides precisely in that: in having been part of a stage where BABYMETAL needed reliable, resilient musicians capable of executing night after night a very demanding repertoire in the brutal context of international tours.
